I was sitting with Michael as he settled into bed for the night. He was holding his stuffed duck which led to the following conversation:
Me: "Michael what does a duck say?" Michael: "Quack, quack!" Me: "Michael, what does daddy say?" Michael: "I am working! Me: "Michael, what does mommy say?" Michael: "I clean the sheets!" Me: "Michael, mommy says, 'I clean the sheets?" Michael: "I clean the sheets!" He then proceeds to look down at his bed sheets and with a big smile on his face says, "Look! Clean sheets!" Age: 4 years old |
